Position Overview:
MagGas Medical is seeking a part-time Driver/Technician. The successful candidate should have proven interpersonal and organizational skills and possess strong work ethics. You will join our talented and energetic team and play an essential role in providing quality support and patient-centered care. As a valuable team member, you will play an integral role in continuing the success of community respiratory care.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Vehicle maintenance and inspections before and after use, compliance with policies and procedures and highway rules and regulations
- Deliveries, setups, and pickups of home medical/oxygen equipment within an assigned route in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner
- Set up and training of equipment for new oxygen patients and delivery to existing patients
- Attend to patient needs by delivering products according to daily schedule and as committed
- Instruct clients in equipment operation and safety procedures
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and repairs when necessary
- Complete daily inventory tasks and coordinate with inventory
- Ability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be available for afterhours/on-call emergency service on a rotational basis
- Appropriately complete necessary documentation as required for client records and billing
Experience Qualifications:
- Proven ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment, safety conscious
- Ability to work independently with strong time management abilities
- Effective communication skills with staff and customers
- Ability to work independently and as team member; ability to multi-task
- Reliable and committed to providing excellent service, flexible and adaptable nature
- Proficient in smartphone technology usage
Technical Qualifications:
- Valid G-class driver’s license with a clean driving record
Job Details:
- Hours of work: 20 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.
- Some flexibility in hours will be required to meet business needs.
- It is a requirement of this role to participate in the shared rotational on-call schedule.
- On-call hours are in addition to your regular weekly hours.
