Position Overview:

MagGas is looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Billing Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and submitting claims to the Ministry of Health (ADP), insurance providers, and NHIB while ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations. This role involves data entry, claims management, resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting retail locations with billing related inquiries. The Medical Billing Specialist plays a crucial role in the financial and administrative efficiency of our CPAP program.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Submit claims to ADP, private insurance providers, and NHIB, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Track, review, and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to claim submissions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all claims, communications, and patient billing information.
  • Enter patient data accurately into Salesforce and ensure data integrity.
  • Create and manage AirView profiles for CPAP therapy patients.
  • Generate and submit PAP compliance reports for insurance and ADP requirements as needed.
  • Monitor claim processing timelines and follow up on outstanding claims.
  • Provide administrative support to retail locations, assisting with billing and insurance inquiries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all billing-related documentation.
  • Stay updated with ADP and insurance billing policies and regulations.

Experience Qualifications:

  • 3+ year of experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of ADP billing, insurance claims, and NHIB submissions is an asset.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar patient management software is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with MagGas Medical Inc. values.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Job Details:

  • Status: Full-time Position / 40 Hrs per week / Monday – Friday
  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Location: North York
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed
  • Ability to Commute/Relocate: North York – Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
  • Experience: Medical billing: 1 year (preferred), Healthcare administration: 1 year (preferred)
  • Language: English (required)
