PAP Patient Care Coordinator

Position Overview:

MagGas Medical is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biomedical Equipment Technician to maintain, repair, and calibrate a wide range of medical equipment. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety and functionality of our equipment, contributing directly to the well-being of patients and the efficiency of healthcare operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to patients on PAP therapy by troubleshooting common equipment issues and offering guidance over the phone or email.
  • Respond to a high volume of incoming calls and voicemails, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Redirect patient inquiries appropriately across clinic locations, departments, or staff members.
  • Perform administrative duties related to the Sleep Therapy department, including data entry, scheduling follow-ups, and organizing patient files.
  • Monitor patient progress and therapy compliance through regular follow-ups, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and other internal systems.
  • Coordinate with ODSP, OWP, and insurance providers on behalf of patients to obtain necessary approvals or documentation.
  • Clean and sanitize Sleep Therapy trial equipment to ensure safety and readiness for reuse.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and team members to ensure continuity of care and support for all active patients.
  • Review and assign patient resupply needs or inquiries to appropriate staff or departments.
  • Identify and flag patients who require escalated clinical support or virtual appointments.


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Strong and effective communication skills and administrative skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally
  • Experience with Quickbooks will be an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as part of a team

 

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, On-site
  • Regular 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
