CPAP Funding Through the Ontario Assistive Devices Program
The Ontario Assistive Devices Program (ADP) helps Ontario residents cover the cost of essential medical equipment, including CPAP machines for treating sleep apnea. This government-funded program can reimburse up to 75% of the cost of a CPAP machine, mask, tubing, and other necessary supplies.
For more information on the ADP Funding Program, visit the Ontario Ministry of Health website.
Am I Eligible?
To qualify for ADP funding for a CPAP machine, you must meet these requirements:
- Ontario Residency: Be an Ontario resident with a valid Ontario Health Card.
- Prescription: Have a prescription for a CPAP machine from a physician at an ADP-registered sleep clinic.
- Residency Status: Not be a resident of a long-term care home (unless it’s for a short-term stay requiring CPAP).
- Medical Eligibility: Meet the medical eligibility criteria outlined by the ADP.

Additional Funding
If you receive benefits from the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) or Ontario Works (OW), you may be eligible for further financial assistance to cover the remaining 25% of the CPAP machine cost. Private health insurance plans may also offer coverage, and the MagGas Medical team can assist you with the claims process.
