MagGas Medical Inc. provides various medical gases to numerous medical services throughout Southern Ontario, such as Dentists, Animal Hospitals, various Private Ambulance companies, etc.

Oxygen U.S.P

Oxygen is one of the basic chemical elements. In its most common form, oxygen is an odourless, colourless gas found in air. It is one of the life-sustaining elements on Earth and is needed by all animals. Oxygen makes up 20.99% of the earth’s atmosphere and in a pure state, is used in medical facilities and patient’s homes in order to therapeutically increase the oxygen levels of humans. Oxygen itself is non-flammable but causes combustible materials to burn vigorously and is a highly oxidizing gas.

Nitrous Oxide

Medical Nitrous Oxide is a colorless, odorless, sweet tasting anesthetic that does support combustion in flammable materials but is non-flammable itself. It can be shipped in both gaseous and liquified form and has been used in cryosurgery and for other freezing applications. As its primary medical use is sedative and analgesic, nitrous oxide is used as an anaesthetic in dentistry and sometimes in surgery.

Air Compressed

Compressed air is air which is kept under a certain pressure, usually greater than that of the atmosphere. Compressed air has a variety of uses and can be used in, or for, functions such as: air driers, compressed air vehicles, air tools and scuba diving.

Nitrogen

Nitrogen is a common, normally colourless, odourless, tasteless and mostly diatomic non-metal gas. It has five electrons in its outer shell, so it is trivalent in most compounds. Liquid nitrogen (often referred to as LN2) is used as a refrigerant for freezing and transporting food products, for preservation in medical uses, and for stable storage of biological samples.

Helium

Helium is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, inert, monatomic gas. It is used as a component of artificial atmospheres and laser media, as a refrigerant, as a lifting gas for balloons, and as a superfluid in cryogenic research.
